About the facility
A new cultural facility that is also the first in Japan to unite the functions of a museum with a library, by renovating an elementary school from the early Showa Period and collecting, storing, exhibiting, and doing research on manga. Visitors can also read, learn about, and experience manga.
The museum displays manga from various periods, inside and outside Japan. Visitors can freely read 50,000 of its 300,000 manga collections.
