Settsukyo and Hana-no-sato Onsen "Bijin-no-yu Syofuen" "Sansuikan"

About the facility

Settsukyo reveals different faces every season, with cherry blossoms in spring, fireflies in summer, and red leaves in fall. There are many ways to enjoy the area: you can trek along the gorge, visit the barbecue area where you can barbecue without bringing your own gear, and enjoy hot springs.
Hana-no-sato onsen is Settsukyo's hot spring, consisting of two facilities: "Bijin-no-yu Syofuen” that accepts people who are visiting only for the onsen for a fee, and an onsen-hotel "Sansuikan." It is one of the most therapeutic onsens in Kansai and it is 2.5 times more dense than a standard onsen, boasting a smooth and gooey texture that feels very gentle, turning your skin soft and glossy. That is why it is called Bijin-no-yu, because "bijin" means beautiful people and "yu" warm water.
