About the facility
Ishiyamadera (stone mountain temple) is, as its name suggests, a temple standing on a rocky mountain. There is a gigantic wollastonite looming in front of the temple's main hall, which is a designated natural monument and is rarely found across the world. The temple's Hondo (main hall) and Tahoto (pagoda) stand on wollastonite.
