MAP/E-1
Built in 1606 in dedication to Hideyoshi Toyotomi by his wife, Nene. Much of its eaves were destroyed by a series of fires, but the Kaizando Hall and mausoleum survive to this day. The garden, which is designated as Japan’s historical site and place of scenic beauty, is known for its magnificent cherry trees and autumnal foliage.
